Gender based violence is a fundamental problem in the society...where there is lack of accountability and data

According to a Facebook post, The U.S. Embassy Abuja organized a Google Hangout today  with the American Spaces in Bauchi, Kano, Jos, Lagos, Ibadan and Calabar to discuss solutions to Gender Based Violence (GBV). The Embassy further stated the three guiding principles to ending gender based violence:

There are three guiding principles:
(1) Prevention
(2) Protection by identifying and providing services to survivors and
(3) Accountability to end impunity and ensure that those responsible for GBV are prosecuted.
